Students attending Católica's LL.M. programmes who want to enroll in the Master's dissertation after finishing the LL.M. may apply in December for a semester abroad (next Fall) at one of the following universities.

University of Michigan

The University of Michigan welcomes competitive applications from Católica’s Ph.D. and LL.M. students for a research stay as a Grotius Research Scholar at the Law School in Ann Arbor. The duration and timing of such a stay is flexible, but it typically begins in September and lasts for several months, although no more than one academic year.  

Georgetown University

Outstanding Ph.D. students from Católica are also invited to apply to the Georgetown Law’s Visiting Researcher program
