Programme Directors

The LL.M. Law in a European and Global Context was designed in collaboration with its directors, Joseph H. H. Weiler, now President of the European University Institute (Florence), and Miguel Poiares Maduro, at this moment on leave as a Minister of the Government of Portugal.

These renowned scholars in the areas of European Union Law, International Trade and Global Constitutionalism work closely with Católica to ensure the consistency of the curricular offerings and the overall quality of the programme. They are committed to establishing a teaching methodology that is the mark of the LL.M. Law in a European and Global Context - the Total Law ™ approach - and expect that every aspect of the programme lives up to the standard of excellence set by that approach.
